Member-only story
A poem based on real story included with some imagination.
Like a Divine Goddess
With payal clinging at Her ankles,
She was strolling by the banks
Of the murmuring Holy Ganges.
Her skin dazzled- strikingly bright-
Putting those stars to utter shame
And the Ganges waters flirted
With Her little toes and feet pinkish-pale.
She was holding her sari-plates
And Her hair flowed in the air.
Her eyes, soft and nose, sharp,
Unearthly voice, a loving stare!
Leave those men! Her friends too gaped
With their months open- What beauty!
She was Love and She was Care-
Like the ever benevolent Radha-Rani!
She was walking by and by
And the waves raced to touch Her feet.
Her lovely sole, waters moist
Drops surround in a devotional greet!
